Villanovia is a conservative restoration example of a historic Tuscan farmhouse.
Originally serving as a warehouse and guard tower, the farmhouse was part of the agricultural properties of the local Bishops, as written in the registers of the XVII century. The recent renovation has preserved its original rustic charm. Its special distinctive character provides a charming, warm atmosphere.
Uniquely located on a hilltop inside one of the Tuscan protected areas, the house offers 700sm of internal living accommodation and 37 acres of private land, surrounded by an amazing 360° panorama over unspoiled Tuscany.
Perfectly located for total relaxation, it also offers short rides to historical sites and art cities. ​Ideal for families with children who enjoy the peace of nature and plenty of space. Groups can gather in the large dining room, prepare food together in the master kitchen or around the outdoor BBQ and seat all outside to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

Villanovia overlooks a hill in the Berignone Natural Park, near the village of Mazzolla, an ancient village and just 9 KM from the historic city of Volterra.
Uncontaminated environment populated by a great variety of wild animals and birds, covered by a dense Mediterranean forest that hides ancient ruins and its rivers die in the nearby Etruscan Coast.
One of the few remaining places in uncontaminated Tuscany.
