Walks or signposted mountain bike trails, petanque, medieval castles of St Sauveur, Bricquebec and Crosville nearby with canoe-kayack trips on the "douve" for miles through the marshes, Luniver: planetarium observatory 35 km away, D-Day landing beaches-UTAH BEACH (museum at Ste Mère Eglise: 1st liberated town). 40 km away, Jersey & Guernsey islands: Carteret pier, Tatihou island: unesco heritage, Bayeux tapestry...not forgetting the magnificent sunsets over the cape of Carteret with its customs path.
