We stayed with the Paternò family for three weeks, the house perfectly reflects the announcement both in terms of location and comfort. Equipped with everything you need, even with good wifi and internet coverage. The apartment we rented was the largest one in the very cool basement, ideal for the high temperatures we found during our vacation. The hosts (Santo and Carmela) were very friendly and attentive to our every need and at the same time very discreet. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, the only small flaw is that you need to use the car to go to the beach, for shopping because the larger supermarkets are about 3km away and to reach the center of Avola. For the rest highly recommended house.
Abbiamo soggiornato presso la famiglia Paternò per tre settimane, la casa rispecchia perfettamente l'annuncio sia come posizione che come comfort. Accessoriata di tutto l'occorrente, anche con buona copertura del wifi e di internet. L' appartamento affittato da noi era quello più grande nel seminterrato molto fresco, ideale per le temperature elavate che abbiamo trovato nei giorni della nostra vacanza. I padroni di casa (Santo e Carmela) sono stati molto cordiali ed attenti ad ogni nostra esigenza e al tempo stesso molto discreti. La casa si trova in un quartiere silenzioso, unico piccolo difetto è che occorre l'uso della macchina per andare in spiaggia, per la spesa perché i supermercati più grandi sono a circa 3km e per raggiungere il centro di Avola. Per il resto casa consigliatissima.

We lived in this house with two adults and four children. It's very generous. The equipment is simple but functional. The location and the garden are a dream. The property is almost surrounded by the sea and is very well maintained. Great plants and lots of seating in the garden. In just 3 minutes walk you can reach the beautiful beach. The nearest shopping and nightlife options are at least 6 km away. Therefore we recommend a car. Serena, the landlady is very friendly and was always available. We had a great time and would book this house again at any time.

Es ist sehr großzügig. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber funktional.
Die Lage und der Garten sind ein Traum.
Das Grundstück ist nahezu vom Meer umgeben und sehr gepflegt. Tolle Pflanzen und viele Sitzmöglickeiten im Garten.
In nur 3 Minuten Fußweg erreicht man den wunderschönen Strand.
Die nächsten Einkaufs- und Ausgehmöglichkeiten sind mindestens 6 km entfernt. Deshalb empfehlen wir ein Auto.
Serena, die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und war jederzeit erreichbar.
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

We had a wonderful time in this very quiet holiday home. Despite the tranquility, you are quickly in the center of Castellamare del Golfo, where you will find all shops for daily needs, as well as a variety of restaurants and places to go out. The house was extremely clean, the terrace with a view of the sea and the pool was fantastic. The owner and his wife are incredibly nice, courteous, friendly and immediately available if there are any questions. We would go back to this wonderful place anytime!
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem sehr ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus. Trotz der Ruhe ist man schnell im Zentrum von Castellamare del Golfo, wo man alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs, sowie eine Vielzahl an Restaurants und Ausgehmöglichkeiten findet. Das Haus war außerordentlich sauber, die Terasse mit Meerblick und Pool phantastisch. Der Besitzer und seine Frau sind unglaublich nett, zuvorkommend, freundlich und sofort zur Stelle wenn es Fragen gibt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder Urlaub an diesem wundervollen Ort machen!
The house is very beautiful and spacious, equipped with every comfort. The swimming pool is very clean and the outdoor area very well kept. Mrs. Patrizia was very kind and gave us a lot of information about the area. The house is a few steps from the free beach. I recommend this location for its proximity to Noto and Syracuse and to explore the entire coast and the various beaches. Great experience.
La casa e' davvero molto bella e spaziosa, fornita di ogni confort. La piscina e' molto pulita e lo spazio esterno molto curato.
La Signora Patrizia e' stata gentilissima e ci ha fornito molte informazioni sulla zona.
La casa dista pochi passi dalla spiaggia libera.
Consiglio questa location per la vicinanza a Noto e Siracusa e per esplorare tutta la costa e le varie spiagge.

It was expected that the person who received, spoke French. This was not the case. Access to the apartment was complicated because of the tenants on the ground floor who had an aggressive dog who attacked us twice. Despite an email to warn Maria Louisa, we had no reaction from her.

L'accès à l'appartement a été compliqué à cause des locataires du rez-de-chaussée qui avait un chien agressif qui nous a attaqué à 2 reprises. Malgré un mail pour prévenir Maria Louisa, nous n'avons pas eu de réaction de sa part.

My family and I spent 10 days in the Ciclamino house rented by Mr. Giuseppe. It was a particularly pleasant stay for various reasons: the short distance from the sea with a sandy bottom (5 min by car with nearby paid parking, but cheap), the logistical convenience of the place (in more or less an hour you can reach the most famous locations), the view that can be admired as soon as you leave the house and partly also from the terrace (in 10 days we did not get used to the beauty of the sunsets) but in my opinion what makes the difference is the hospitality and availability di Giuseppe who is a great host.
Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo passato 10 giorni nella casa Ciclamino affittata dal signor Giuseppe. E' stato un soggiorno particolarmente piacevole per vari motivi: la poca distanza dal mare con fondo sabbioso (5 min di macchina con vicino parcheggi a pagamento, ma economici), la comodità logistica del posto (in più o meno un'ora si arriva nelle località più famose), il panorama che si può ammirare appena usciti dalla casa e in parte anche dal terrazzino (in 10 gg non ci siamo abituati alla bellezza dei tramonti) ma a mio avviso ciò che fa la differenza è l'ospitalità e la disponibilità di Giuseppe che è un ottimo padrone di casa.

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our dog, very quiet and very close to the free beach on foot. We booked accommodation in the attic which includes a terrace equipped with a barbecue. The only suggestion I give to Marialuisa, who welcomed us very well, is to replace the 2 single beds in the kitchen with a sofa bed in order to have more space in the kitchen or even to put a bigger table, than in the hottest days. you can eat indoors. Having said that we will definitely return, but, next time we will book for the accommodation with the garden.
Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 2 settimane insieme alla nostra cagnolina, contesto molto tranquillo e vicinissimo a piedi alla spiaggia libera.
Abbiamo prenotato l'alloggio in mansarda che prevede la terrazza attrezzata di barbecue.
L'unico suggerimento che do a Marialuisa, che ci ha accolti benissimo, è di sostituire in cucina i 2 lettini singoli con un divano letto in modo di avere più spazio in cucina o addirittura di mettere un tavolo più grande, che nei giorni più caldi si può mangiare dentro casa.
Detto ciò ritorneremo sicuramente, ma, la prossima volta prenoteremo per l'alloggio con il giardino.
