Great chalet, well located with magnificent views all round. Well-equipped (though sheets and towels are not provided (which is usual in France but not in other countries - should be mentioned in listing)). We managed fine without a car and used both the skibus and the local chair-lifts at le Chozal to access the extensive ski slopes at les Saisies and neighbouring resorts (l'Espace Diamant). Well-run village with good local amenities and a very pleasant "welcome drink" at the "Salle Ducis" on arrival. And we had plenty of snow, good weather and marvellous walks as well as skiing.

The kitchen is relatively small for accommodation designed for 12 people. The chalet is not really close to the ski lifts which take you to the Arrondaz plateau (departure from the ski schools and the Piou Piou club). When there are young children with the shoes and equipment it is a bit complicated. We discovered at the end of the stay that there was a free locker in the village to drop off equipment at the end of the day. It might be interesting to point this out in the advert, it can be very useful when there are children. The return to the chalet will be made easier.
La cuisine est relativement petite pour un logement prévu pour 12 personnes. Le chalet n'est pas vraiment proche des remontées mécaniques qui permettent de monter au plateau d'Arrondaz (départ des écoles de ski et du club Piou Piou). Quand il y a de jeunes enfants avec les chaussures et le matériel cela est un peu compliqué. Nous avons découvert à la fin du séjour qu'il y avait dans le village une consigne gratuite pour déposer le matériel en fin de journée. Il serait peut-être intéressant de le signaler dans l'annonce, cela peut être très utile quand il y a des enfants. La remontée vers le chalet en sera facilitée..

Spacious and very quiet accommodation, although lacking a little sunshine due to its orientation. Shops in Les Arcs 1600 easily accessible thanks to the nearby funicular.
Logement spacieux et très calme, manquant toutefois un peu d'ensoleillement en raison de son orientation. Commerces aux Arcs 1600 facilement accessibles grâce au funiculaire tout proche.

For the 2nd time we are coming as a family to this chalet where we feel at home. It is very well equipped, well located, shops are close and departure and return are ski-in/ski-out. The decoration in the "modern mountain" style provides a very cozy atmosphere. The "independent studio" side of the ground floor is very popular with young people. The owners are attentive and take care to check on us during our stay to find out if everything is going well. Unheard of for us and we really appreciate this attention. Pour la 2ème fois nous venons en famille dans ce chalet où nous nous sentons comme chez nous. Il est très bien équipé, bien placé, les commerces sont proches et départ et retour se font skis aux pieds. La décoration dans le style "montagnard moderne" procure une ambiance très cosy.
Le côté "studio indépendant" du rez-de-chaussée de chaussée est très apprécié par les jeunes.
Les propriétaire sont à l'écoute et prennent soin de prendre de nos nouvelles en cours de séjour pour savoir si tout va bien. Du jamais vu pour nous et nous apprécions beaucoup cette attention.
Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir.

Beautiful chalet well equipped but shower on the ground floor too narrow no lighting on the sink and in the kitchen on the sink..no problem the rooms are very large the wooden chalet was very nice

very warm welcome; great gîte; general equipment and impeccable cleanliness;; very satisfactory culinary equipment and crockery (I was just missing a spatula, but that's a detail) two regrets: 1 bathroom for 8 you really have to be very organized no ventilation in the mezzanine area but I would recommend this rental without any problem; thank you Mrs G.

Rental conforms to the description. Access to the slopes and lifts is quick thanks to a door at the rear of the building located just in front of the rental on the snow front. Laurence welcomes us with kindness (thank you again, the jam was delicious). We had a very nice week.

Chalet as advertised, well located near the ski lifts and close to shops. We were 8 adults and everyone was able to find their space thanks to the 4 bedrooms each with a bathroom. Too bad there is no direct access to the ski room, you have to enter through the main room, with skis and boots you quickly get snow everywhere.
Chalet conforme à l'annonce, bien situé près des remontées mécaniques pour le ski et près des commerces. Nous étions 8 adultes et chacun a pu trouver son espace grâce aux 4 chambres avec chacune une salle d'eau. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'accès direct au local à skis, il faut renter par la pièce principale, avec les skis et les chaussures on a vite fait de mettre de la neige partout.
Courchevel Village was a nice solution to spend the beginning of the new year with friends. The place is magical and everything is very comfortable. We parked the car and only picked it up at the end of the holiday. The Chalet Grand Cherf is a welcoming and well-organised structure but I would like to point out two/three critical points: Upon arrival, a heavy snowfall delayed us by about an hour and with the sun setting, identifying the Chalet was really complicated: it can be reached via a short path on foot but we didn't have optimal directions and furthermore, at our entrance everything it was dark and the Chalet very cold. Furthermore, a single bathroom in the whole house for 9 people: it takes super close-knit and synchronized families like ours!
Courchevel Village è stata una bella soluzione per trascorrere l’inizio del nuovo anno con gli amici. Il posto è magico e tutto molto comodo. Abbiamo parcheggiato l’auto e l’abbiamo ripresa solo a fine vacanza.
Lo Chalet Grand Cherf è una struttura accogliente e ben organizzata ma segnalo due/tre criticità:
all’arrivo una nevicata cospicua ci ha fatto tardare di circa un’ora e con il sole tramontato l’identificazione dello Chalet è stata davvero complicata: si raggiunge con un breve sentiero a piedi ma non avevamo indicazioni ottimali ed in più al nostro ingresso tutto era buio e lo Chalet molto freddo.
Inoltre un unico bagno in tutta la casa per 9 persone: ci vogliono famiglie super affiatate e sincronizzate come le nostre!

Super comfortable chalet, with lots of charm, very well equipped. Magnificent view from the balcony. We had an idyllic stay there. The Les Arcs area is a superb area, and the ski-in/ski-out departure is a real asset. We will come back, that's for sure!

Pretty mountain chalet, very well equipped and organized with a magnificent view. Televillage and free shuttles in the village, convenient for getting around. We did some beautiful hikes, the landscapes are magnificent. Very warm welcome, attentive owner and very friendly concierge staff. We had a great week with our 3 children. We are thinking of going back there next summer.
Joli chalet montagnard, très bien équipé et organisé avec une vue magnifique. Télévillage et navettes gratuites dans le village, pratiques pour se déplacer. Nous avons fait de belles randonnées, les paysages sont magnifiques. Très bon accueil, propriétaire attentionnée et personnes de la conciergerie très sympathiques. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos 3 enfants. Nous pensons y retourner l'été prochain.
