We stayed at Villa Kazami in April 2023 for a short week. From the first contact with Dominique, everything was perfect. Dominique is a very friendly person who does everything to ensure that your preparation for your stay and your stay goes perfectly. We were able to have access, before our arrival, to a guide of the Villa which included all the necessary information (for the Villa but also tourist information).
Arriving at Villa Kazami, we discovered a real paradise. The place is very quiet and the view from the house is perfect with the sun setting over the Caribbean Sea. The Villa is surrounded by greenery which allowed us to be quiet and to see many different birds and insects (all harmless).
The Carbet and the Terrace invite contemplation and they are timeless places. The Villa is fully equipped in all rooms. Nothing is missing, really nothing (thanks for discovering the Skyjo board game ?). Inside, the temperature is pleasant thanks to the fans and the trade winds. The bedrooms are very spacious, the bathrooms offerall amenities and the living room-kitchen is very pleasant even if we spent most of our time on the terrace and in the Carbet. The decoration is neat with very pretty paintings and the house is very clean.
The swimming pool is "the icing on the cake" of this paradise. We were able to take advantage of the Villa's superb swimming pool when we returned from an excursion in order to take advantage of its freshness (relative to the outside temperature ?) and its exceptional view of the Caribbean Sea.
In addition to all this, Cédric who takes care of the concierge is a very professional person who takes care of the house and its guests perfectly.
To sum up, we had an excellent stay thanks to Dominique. Villa Kazami is an exceptional place where time stands still located in Basse Terre which deserves to be better known because it is much more natural. We would like more than anything to return to Villa Kazami during a future stay in Guadeloupe.
Nous avons séjourné à la Villa Kazami en Avril 2023 pour une petite semaine. Dès le premier contact avec Dominique, tout à été parfait. Dominique est une personne très sympathique et qui fait tout pour que votre préparation de séjour et séjour se passe d’une façon parfaite. Nous avons pu avoir accès, avant notre arrivée, à un guide de la Villa qui comprenait la totalité des informations nécessaires (pour la Villa mais également des informations touristiques).
En arrivant à la Villa Kazami, nous avons découvert un vrai paradis. Le lieu est très calme et la vue depuis la maison est parfaite avec le soleil qui se couche sur la mer des Caraïbes. La Villa est en pleine verdure ce qui nous a permis d’être au calme et d’apercevoir beaucoup d’oiseaux et insectes différents (tous inoffensifs).
Le Carbet et la Terrasse invite à la contemplation et ce sont des lieux hors du temps. La Villa est parfaitement équipée dans toutes les pièces. Il ne manque rien, vraiment rien (merci pour la découverte du jeu de société le Skyjo 😊). A l’intérieur, la température est agréable grâce aux ventilateurs et aux alizés. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, les salles de bains offrent toutes les commodités et le salon-cuisine est très agréable à vivre même si nous avons passés la plupart de notre temps sur la terrasse et dans le Carbet. La décoration est soignée avec de très jolis tableaux et la maison est très propre.
La piscine est « la cerise sur le gâteau » de ce paradis. Nous avons pu profiter de la superbe piscine de la Villa lors de nos retours d’excursion afin de profiter de sa fraicheur (relative par rapport à la température extérieure 😉) et de sa vue exceptionnelle sur la mer des Caraïbes.
En plus de tout ceci, Cédric qui s’occupe de la conciergerie est une personne très professionnelle qui s’occupe parfaitement de la maison et des hôtes de celle-ci.
Pour résumé, nous avons passés un excellent séjour grâce à Dominique. La Villa Kazami est un lieu d’exception ou le temps s’arrête située en Basse Terre qui mérite d’être plus connue car beaucoup plus nature. Nous souhaiterions plus que tout revenir à la Villa Kazami lors d’un prochain séjour en Guadeloupe.

Pleasant stay, very comfortable accommodation for 4 people. Pleasant rental. Good location. Mrs R. listens to holidaymakers and wants everything to be at its best. A few things to clarify all the same about air conditioning, access to the beach and the pool. Mais sinon la location est conforme aux photos et les cadeaux de bienvenus nous ont fait très plaisir car cela est très agréable d'arriver avec une belle corbeille de fruits préparée et autres petits cadeaux.

Abbiamo trovato la casa con un nuovo condizionatore, silenzioso e molto efficiente.
Cucina completa di forno, piastra per cucinare, frigorifero con congelatore, tutto perfettamente funzionante, compresa la lavatrice, gli elettrodomestici sono posizionati nella veranda, cosi da non cucinare in casa.
Belle piscine di cui una con idromassaggio, anche se ci siamo stati solo una volta, il mare è decisamente più attraente, ma le piscine per chi vuole utilizzarle ci sono
Richard come sempre si è dimostrato molto disponibile, ci ha anche accompagnati all'aeroporto per la nostra partenza, oltre a farci trovare al nostro arrivo un delizioso vassoio di frutta freschissima.
Siamo tornati per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, per la sua posizione, perfetta per tutte le escursioni che si vogliono fare, con agenzie proprio nelle immediate vicinanze della casa, partenze per Petit Terre consigliamo AWAK, il più economico divertimento assicurato , escursioni a Ilet Caret, Les Santes, queste ultime con motoscafi veloci, splendide escursioni con grigliate sulle isole o a bordo dello stesso motoscafo, ottimo diving, consiglio Plongee Caribeenne, tutto questo e molto altro ancora, nelle immediate vicinanze, una piacevole passeggiate per la Marina e troverete tutto, anche il super mercato.
A pochi minuti di auto la splendida spiaggia di Point de Chateaux, le Caravelle, Gossier, Saint Ann ecc.....,
Non ultimo il mercato del Pesce, dove si può acquistare il miglior pesce fresco a prezzi davvero ottimi.
La sera oltre alla vasta scelta di ristoranti e bar, non mancano soluzioni più "economiche" grazie ad i numerosi furgoni nella zona del mercato del pesce, sandwich, bokito e birra a prezzi più che convenienti.
Da non perdere il martedì sera il mercato alla rotonda.
Consigliamo tuttavia di noleggiare un auto per muoversi meglio, noi quest'anno abbiamo voluto provare ad usare l'autobus, essendo la stazione e la fermata molto vicina alla casa, ma sono poco affidabili, attese lunghe e spesso corse non effettuate in orario. sabato corse ridotte e la domenica nessuna corsa.
Cosa altro dire? per noi ormai Richard è un punto di riferimento, quando torneremo sarà un piacere tornare da LUI.

The accommodation was very clean, and well equipped (TV, tassimo, internet, air conditioning). The owner was always there for our comfort during our stay. The accommodation is located close to all shops, and geographically well located in the middle of the island to discover all of Guadeloupe. We will come back to this beautiful place again. Le propriétaire était toujours présent pour notre confort durant notre séjour.
Le logement est situé à proximité de tous les commerces de proximité, et géographiquement bien situé au milieu de l’île pour pouvoir découvrir l’ensemble de la Guadeloupe. Nous reviendrons encore à cet endroit magnifique.
