The apartment is elegant, comfortable and very well equipped. The balcony has a beautiful exposure to the calm with a view of the very pleasant swimming pool of the residence. Lots of storage. Pleasant volume with the cathedral roof of the living room. Clarification concerning the staircase of the duplex: steep and narrow without overcoming on the floor, you have to be careful. Very clean common areas.
Its location is ideal. A few minutes walk away you will find: - the markets open every day (except Monday in June) which offer a wide variety of local products (a nod to the organic market gardener with her delicious fruits and vegetables), - the contact crossroads, - a pharmacy, - several bike rental companies, - secure access to a large and beautiful beach, - several bars and restaurants, - a small carnival, - a small cinema at the foot of the residence.
La Couarde sur Mer is located in the middle of the island, which allows you to visit it without going too far.
A must see: the whale lighthouse, cycling to Pointe du Grouin through the salt marshes, St Martin de Ré, ...

L'appartement est élégant, confortable et très bien équipé. Le balcon a une belle exposition au calme avec une vue sur la piscine très agréable de la résidence. Beaucoup de rangements. Volume plaisant avec le toit cathédrale de la pièce de vie. Précision concernant l'escalier du duplex : raide et étroit sans pallier à l'étage, il faut se montrer prudent. Parties communes très propres.
Son emplacement est idéal. A quelques minutes à pied, vous trouverez :
- les halles ouvertes tous les jours (sauf le lundi en juin) qui offrent une grande variété de produits locaux (petit clin d'œil à la maraîchère bio avec ses fruits et légumes délicieux),
- le carrefour contact,
- une pharmacie,
- plusieurs loueurs de vélos,
- un accès sécurisé à une grande et belle plage,
- plusieurs bars et restos,
- une petite fête foraine,
- un petit cinéma au pied de la résidence.
La Couarde sur Mer se situe au milieu de l'île, ce qui permet de la visiter sans faire trop de distance.
A voir absolument : le phare des baleines, aller en vélo jusqu'à la Pointe du Grouin à travers les marais salants, St Martin de Ré, ...

We have just returned from a lovely week on the Ile de Ré. Housing very well located in the center of the island, close to shops, bike paths. Very beautiful beach just behind the residence. Friendly and helpful owner.

Great stay at the residence, housing conformed to the description. We enjoyed the terrace very nice, the pool is quite large and clean. The very friendly owner recommended us good addresses on the island.

Apartment ideally located on the island for cycling and leave the car on the private parking very valuable. The beach is 5 minutes walk. Clean and very functional. Washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding very comfortable. The terrace is very nice, overlooking the pool and not overlooked. Also very well exposed to enjoy the sunshine all day. Close to a small supermarket, the market and the center. Very quiet residence at this time. Excellent contact with the owner who took the care and time to provide all the necessary information relating to the apartment but also to the smooth running of our stay (good addresses, bike rental ...). Propre et très fonctionnel. Lave-linge et lave-vaisselle. Literie très confortable.
La terrasse est très agréable, donnant sur la piscine et sans vis à vis. Également très bien exposée pour profiter de l'ensoleillement toute la journée.
A deux pas d'un petit supermarché, du marché et du centre. Résidence très calme à cette période.
Excellent contact avec la propriétaire qui a pris le soin et le temps de fournir toutes les informations nécessaires relatives à l'appartement mais aussi au bon déroulement de notre séjour (bonnes adresses, location de vélo...). Très à l'écoute de ses locataires pour maintenir et améliorer leur confort.
En bref, nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec l'envie de revenir très vite !
Very nice family holiday, with friendly owners, available and good advice, thanks again for all the info. The location is ideally located and we could enjoy the city center of Couarde-sur-mer and the nearby beach. The place and parking was at the top and the bike garage although charged was very convenient. We highly recommend this rental and we will not hesitate to return.

A nice accommodation and consistent with the description. Most: 2 minutes from the beach on foot, a few steps from the market and a small business, 10 minutes walk from the village center. Ideally located on the island of Ré we have done everything by bike: a real treat. The owners are nice and good advice. To recommend.
