Nice, spacious and clean accommodation in a very quiet residence with a lovely swimming pool. Car nicely parked in the closed parking garage. Landlord also very friendly and involved both at reception and departure. We would love to come back.
Fijne, ruime en schone accomodatie in een zeer rustige residence met een heerlijk zwembad. Auto fijn geparkeerd in de afgesloten parkeergarage. Verhuurder ook zeer vriendelijk en betrokken zowel bij ontvangst en vertrek. We komen graag terug.
We had two very nice weeks. The house was clean when we arrived. The swimming pool is great. There are plenty of things to do around!! The only downside is the highway which you can hear quite a bit in the evening. Otherwise I recommend the house!!

We had a wonderful week. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and the swimming pool is a real plus with its outdoor kitchen and barbecue. We spent a very pleasant week in this villa, the strong point of which is the fantastic view over the entire bay of Agay and the coast to the Gulf of St Tropez. The very well equipped terrace allows you to enjoy a magnificent spectacle at sunset. The owner, extremely responsive, does everything to facilitate the stay of his tenants. We definitely recommend this rental!
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette villa dont le point fort est la vue fantastique sur toute la baie d’Agay et la côte jusqu’au golfe de St Tropez. La terrasse très bien équipée permet de jouir d’un spectacle grandiose au coucher du soleil.
Le propriétaire, extrêmement réactif, fait tout pour faciliter le séjour de ses locataires.

Very nice accommodation with everything you need for a stay such as bed linen, towels, beach towels, fully equipped kitchen, nice pool, etc. We didn't miss anything during the 2 week vacation. The landlords are really very nice and attentive. We received a gift from the region as a welcome. There was water and wine in the fridge for us. The landlords also responded quickly to our questions and concerns and helped us. Especially when one of us got burned by a jellyfish. The landlords brought us special ointments and medicines in case of an allergic reaction. Then we asked how we were doing. Really great! Mme Guillemard is also a nice and attentive person. She gave us the key and was there when we left. She also responded promptly and courteously to our concerns.
All in all, we spent a wonderful holiday with 3 families including children. There was something for everyone. The area is very beautiful and you can easily explore the French Riviera by car. The house is in a great location. The beaches can be seen inreach on foot in a few minutes. Grocery store with fresh baguettes and croissants is also within walking distance. Restaurants on the beach are also recommended.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt wie z.B. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Strandtücher, voll ausgestattete Küche, schöner Pool usw. Uns hat während den 2 Wochen Urlaub nicht gefehlt. Die Vermieter sind wirklich sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir haben zu Begrüßung eine Aufmerksamkeit aus der Region bekommen. Im Kühlschrank war Wasser und Wein für uns. Die Vermieter haben auch schnell ausunsere Fragen und Anliegen reagiert und uns geholfen. Insbesondere als einer von uns von einer Qualle verbrannt wurde. Die Vermieter haben uns spezielle Salbe und auch Medikamente im Falle einer allergischen Reaktion vorbeigebracht. Danach auch nachgefragt wie es uns geht. Wirklich toll!
Mme Guillemard ist ebenfalls eine nette und aufmerksame Person. Sie hat uns den Schlüssel übergeben und auch bei der Abreise war sie dabei. Auch sie hat ümgehend und zuvorkommend auf unsere Anliegen reagiert.
Insgesamt haben wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit 3 Familien inkl. Kinder verbracht. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und man kann bequem mit dem Auto die französische Riviera erkunden. Das Haus hat such eine super Lage. Die Strände kann man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Lebensmittelgeschäft mit frischem Baguette und Croissants ist auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants am Strand sind auch zu empfehlen.

Host: François and his wife have done a lot to ensure that we have a good time on their property. You weren't there for the first 1 1/2 weeks, but made sure that all our questions were answered and that we could feel comfortable. Thank you for that.
Furnishing: The equipment is functional and suitable and we didn't miss anything. The bathroom is a bit lacking in storage space (shelf space, although there is space for it), but that wasn't too bad. In the spacious pool area, which is about 1 1/2 levels below the apartment (access via garden or forest path), you will also find a small pool kitchen with fridge/freezer, sink, dresser and gas grill. For us, this was the real highlight of the facility, in addition to the many seating and lounger options with lots of shade or sun.
Cleanliness: We found a clean and tidy accommodation area. The pool was also clean and equipped with a salt water cleaning system. That was great. No chlorine that burns your eyes.
Comfort: You are allowed inDon't expect pure luxury from this accommodation compared to all the other villas in the drive-through protected park (it's actually a closed mountain with a forest and countless and spacious properties). The large, deep pool with Roman steps is pure luxury.
Price-performance ratio: Appropriate in our eyes. Surprisingly, the cost of living on the Côte d'Azur was not as high as expected. Compared to the prices in Germany that rose in summer 2023, it felt even cheaper.
Location: As mentioned above, the accommodation is part of a complex with many interesting villas in the Esterel mountains. The landlord's house and the holiday accommodation (structurally linked, but built separately so that you don't hear much from each other) are located on a very large sloping site with lots of greenery and trees. Access is via a paved road. However, you have to go uphill through the park and then downhill again, around almost half the mountain, to get to the separate accommodation entrancecome with a shady parking lot (another driveway about 200 m from the accommodation is closed and probably only accessible to the fire brigade). Depending on which direction you want to go, Fréjus or Cannes, a bit cumbersome. The next larger supermarket is about 20 minutes away by car. There are also restaurants about a 14-minute drive away.
What we particularly liked: The large, clean pool and lots of greenery around it. The peace and seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of tourism were very relaxing for us. Also the possibility that in a relatively short time all known places of the French. Riviera (Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Fréjus or St. Tropez).
What we didn't like: If you want to complain at a high level - the "long" driveway in the area. We are undecided as to whether the engine noise that disturbed the peace on the mountain bikes or whether it is part of the special flair of the area.
Conclusion: Although we actually never (want to) come to a vacation spot twice, this accommodation, the host and the environment have what it takes to deviate from this principle and we domake yourself comfortable here again in the years to come. In any case, the holiday time spent here will stay in our memories for a very long time...

François und seine Frau haben viel dafür getan, dass es uns in der Zeit auf Ihrem Grundstück gut ergangen ist. Die ersten 1 1/2 Wochen waren Sie nicht selbst vor Ort, hatten aber dafür gesorgt, dass all unsere Fragen beantwortet wurden und wir uns wohl fühlen konnten. Vielen Dank dafür.
Ausstattung:
Die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig sowie passend und wir haben nichts vermisst. Im Bad fehlen zwar ein wenig die Abstellmöglichkeiten (Regalfläche, obwohl Möglichkeiten dafür bestehen), aber das war nicht weiter tragisch. Im großzügig angelegten Poolbereich, der sich ca. 1 1/2 Ebenen unterhalb der Ferienwohnung befindet (Zugang über Garten- bzw. Waldweg), findet man zusätzlich auch noch mal eine kleine Poolküche mit Kühl-/Gefrierschrank, Waschbecken, Anrichte und Gasgrill. Dies war für uns neben den vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten mit viel Schatten- oder Sonnenbereich das eigentliche Highlight der Anlage.
Sauberkeit:
Wir fanden einen sauberen und gepflegten Unterkunftsbereich vor. Der Pool war ebenso sauber und mit Salzwasserreinigungsanlage ausgestattet. Das war super. Kein Chlor das in den Augen brennt.
Komfort:
Man darf in dieser Unterkunft keinen puren Luxus im Vergleich zu den ganzen weiteren Villen in der durchfahrtsgeschützten Parkanlage (eigentlich ist es ein abgesperrter Berg mit Wald und unzähligen und großzügig ausgelegten Anwesen) erwarten. Der große, tiefe und mit römischer Treppe ausgestattete Pool ist dann aber doch wieder Luxus pur.
Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis:
In unseren Augen angemessen. Erstaunlicherweise waren die Lebensunterhaltskosten an der Côte d'Azur dann doch nicht so hoch wie gedacht. Im Vergleich zu den im Sommer 2023 angezogenen Preisen in Deutschland dann sogar gefühlt noch günstiger.
Lage:
Wie oben bereits erwähnt, befindet sich die Unterkunft in einer Anlage mit vielen interessanten Villen im Esterel-Gebirge. Das Haus des Vermieters und die Ferienunterkunft (baulich miteinander verknüpft, aber doch separat aufgebaut, so dass man nicht viel voneinander mitbekommt) befinden Sie auf einem sehr großen abschüssigen Gelände mit viel Grün und Bäumen. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über eine geteerte Straße. Allerdings muss man durch die Parkanlage erst bergauf und dann wieder bergab um fast den halben Berg herumfahren, um auf den separaten Unterkunftseingang mit schattigem Parkplatz zu kommen (eine weiter Zufahrt ca. 200 m von der Unterkunft entfernt ist gesperrt und wohl nur für Feuerwehr befahrbar). Je nachdem in welche Richtung man fahren will, Fréjus oder Cannes, etwas umständlich. Der nächste größere Einkaufsmarkt ist ca. 20 min Fahrtzeit entfernt. Restaurants gibt es auch in ca. 14 min Fahrzeit entfernt.
Was hat uns besonders gefallen:
Der große saubere Pool und das viele Grün drumherum. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit abseits des Tourismustrubels waren für uns sehr erholsam. Auch die Möglichkeit, dass man in relativer kurzer Zeit alle bekannten Ortschaften der franz. Riviera (Cannes, Nizza, Monaco, Fréjus oder St. Tropez) erreichen kann.
Was hat uns nicht gefallen:
Wenn man auf hohem Niveau jammern will - die „lange“ Zufahrt in der Anlage. Unschlüssig sind wir darin, ob der Motorenlärm, der am bergfahrenden Motorräder die Ruhe gestört hat oder zum besonderen Flair der Umgebung dazugehört.
Fazit:
Obwohl wir eigentlich nie an einen Ferienort zweimal kommen (wollen), hat diese Unterkunft, der Gastgeber und die Umgebung das Zeug dazu, dass wir von diesem Grundsatz abweichen und wir es uns in den kommenden Jahren hier nochmal gemütlich machen. Die verbrachte Urlaubszeit bleibt uns hier jedenfalls sehr lange positiv in Erinnerung…

We have already inquired for next year! Perfect for small children with no stairs in the house and a separate pool on the large property.
Tolle Unterkunft, sehr freundliche Besitzer und Betreuung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr umfangreich ausgestattet und sauber. Großer, schöner Pool, gute Lage mit Anschluss an die A8, Richtung Cannes oder Frejus. Wir haben schon für das nächste Jahr angefragt! Hello, the rental is very pleasant in a very quiet place, and very clean, both inside and outside the buildings. Swimming pool nothing to say, with several water levels and sunny all day with shaded area. The apartment is located in a residence where several buildings are of the same style: super well maintained and very pleasant to see. Apartment very well equipped to live in four, the downside lacks a little utensils to eat (bowls, salad bowls). Otherwise everything is perfect, a large terrace, table and small relaxation area with living room above and view of the lake and trees ... what more? Another great highlight: the underground garage: car or motorbike can be sheltered from everything. Very good stay and honest owner. If we don't see other places next year we would definitely come back.
Bonjour la location est très agréable dans un endroit très calme, et très propre, aussi bien intérieur et extérieur des bâtiments. Piscine rien à dire, avec plusieurs niveaux d'eau et ensoleillé toute la journée avec coin ombragé. L'appartement se situe dans une résidence où plusieurs bâtiments sont du même style : super bien entretenu et très agréables à voir.
Appartement très bien équipé pour vivre à quatre, le bémol manque un peu d'ustensile pour se restaurer (bols, saladiers).
Sinon tout est parfait, une grande terrasse, table et petit coin détente avec salon dessus et vue sur lac et arbres ... quoi de plus?
Un super autre point fort : le garage en sous sol : voiture ou moto peuvent être à l'abris de tout.
Très bon séjour et propriétaire honnête.
Si nous ne voyons pas d'autres endroits l'année prochaine, nous reviendrions sans problème.
