I was looking for an accommodation in La Garrotxa: it is a region with a lot of offer: beautiful villages (Besalú, Santa Pau, Beget, etc), nature (peaks, climbing area, plains, forests such as La Fageda) and various activities (bike-lane, ponies for children, horseback riding). The area where the house is located is the closest to the beach (in 35 min you will be planted in Sant Pere Pescador), and if there are no other interesting options like visiting the Dalí Museum in Figueres, the Estany de Bañoles or the city of Girona
We were looking for a house where we could isolate ourselves from everything. So we appreciated that it was in a more rural than urban, although well connected (in 5 min you plant in Maià, which has a small store with what you need for each day and a delicious bread).
The house has an independent access. A terrace and garden of your own that gives you privacy. We enjoy dinners in them. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped with all the kitchen utensils imaginable and with leftover dishes so you do not have to put in a dishwasher. It is appreciated that they provide soap from dishes and clothing, salt and sugar, because for weekly rentals it givesstick have to buy everything.
I had never bathed in a natural pool but the feeling of leaving without chlorine was pleasant. It has a filter system that makes it look very clean. For me it was the best; It has stunning views; I enjoyed its sunsets, and my husband had his morning baths after going for a run on the roads around.
Xavier gave us all the detailed information a week before leaving. Sílvia was charming and she facilitated our stay: from letting us taste her figs, tomatoes and aromatic herbs, to giving us home remedies for some domestic mishap.
In summary: we have enjoyed these two weeks in Can Xicot de Segueró.
Buscaba un alojamiento en La Garrotxa: es una comarca con mucha oferta: pueblos preciosos (Besalú, Santa Pau, Beget, etc) , naturaleza (cimas, zona de escalada, llanos, bosques como La Fageda) y actividades varias (bici-carril, ponies para los niños, excursiones a caballo). La zona en concreto donde está la casa es la más cercana a la playa (en 35 min te plantas en Sant Pere Pescador) , y si no hay otras opciones interesantes como visitar el Museo Dalí en Figueres, el estany de Bañoles o la ciudad de Girona.
Buscábamos una casa donde aislarnos de todo. Así que agradecimos que estuviera en una zona más rural que urbana, aunque bien comunicada (en 5 min te plantas en Maià, que tiene una pequeña tienda con lo que necesitas para cada día y un pan riquísimo).
La casa tiene un acceso independiente. Una terraza y jardín propio qie te da privacidad. Disfrutamos de cenas en ellas. Las habitaciones son amplias y la cocina está muy bien equipada con todos los utensilios de cocina imaginables y con platos de sobras para no ir sufriendo para poner lavavajillas. Se agradecece que proporcionen jabón de los platos y la ropa, sal y azúcar, porque para alquileres semanales da palo tener que comprar de todo.
Nunca me había bañado en una piscina natural pero la sensació de salir sin cloro fué agradable. Tiene un sistemla de filtros que hace que salga limpísima. Para mi fué de lo mejor; tiene unas vistas impresionantes; yo disfruté de sus atardeceres, y mi marido de sus baños matinales después de salir a correr por los caminos de alrededor.
Xavier nos proporcionó toda la información detalladísima una semana antes de partir. Sílvia fué encantadora y nos facilitó la estancia: desde dejarnos probar sus higos, tomates y hierbas aromáticas, a darnos remedios caseros por algún percance doméstico.
En resumen: hemos disfrutado de estas dos semanas en Can Xicot de Segueró.
A beautiful house, well equipped and very clean. It is located in the heart of a superb region to discover and very close to Barcelona. Carles and his wife are very caring and charming! No downside to report! NB: We are Spanish speakers but it is noted that they all speak perfect French 2!

Elle est située au cœur d'une région superbe à découvrir et très proche de Barcelone.

Hello, We had a wonderful stay in this farmhouse. Everything conforms to the announcement, the home equipment of a very high standard including a bathroom for each bedroom, a beautiful well equipped kitchen, washing machine, wifi. The terrace is facing and protected from the sun. The pool is beautiful, the water is warm all in a beautiful natural environment, calm and in the song of cicadas. Very welcoming owners, we arrived early and we were able to develop gracefully, still thank you to them. Regards, Alain A.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce mas. Tout est conforme à l'annonce, l'équipement de la maison d'un très haut niveau avec notamment une salle de bains pour chaque chambre, une très belle cuisine bien équipée, le lave-linge, le wifi. La terrasse est bien orientée et protégée du soleil. La piscine est superbe, l'eau est chaude le tout dans un bel environnement naturel, calme et sous le chant des cigales. Très bon accueil des propriétaires, nous sommes arrivés plus tôt et nous avons pu aménager gracieusement, encore merci à eux.
