Large apartment 82 m² furnished with balcony, very sunny (western southern exposure) located in a calm residence PLAN DEVIN. Amazing views of the mountain and the valley. While crossing the door, you enter the hall, you will find on the right : 1st bedroom (4 bunk beds + one trundle bed), opposite 2nd bedroom (1 double bed) and on the left the living room. At the end of the hall, on the left, you come to a corridor leading to : on the left the first bathroom (shower), the 2nd (bath, basin, washing machine) then the toilet facing the 3rd bedroom (2 simple beds) and at the end you come to the kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven,toaster,coffe maker, a fondue set, raclette grill, pan, sauce pan, pressure cooker ...). The kitchen and the living room communicate but have their own access from the corridor and to the balcony. From the balcony you have a view of a garden (cover of snow according to the season) where kids can play.
If the apartment is not available during the requested period, you have the possibilty to rent the next door apartment of the same capacity.
When arriving by car to the Arcs 1600, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit (heading to Arcs 2000), the residence is located on your left after passing under a bridge I
When arriving to Bourg Saint Maurice by train, take the funicular heading to arcs 1600, then go to the free shuttle (heading to Arc 1800) and stop to Plan Devin. When you get off the shuttle take the footbridge to enter the residence plan devin (1).
The residence is located in the centre of the resort nevertheless remains easy to access.
To go skiing you have 2 options: if you are a good skier you can take a slope (red) to go down to the funicular (stop: les granges and reach the centre of the resort). If you are a beginner you can either go to the centre of the resort on foot (running up the stairs) or with the free shuttle (every 20mins-time of commutation: 5mins)
Bedding in good condition
However, a single toilet for 8 people may seem fair.
A leak in the shower was not reported although known. We were wrongly worried when we noticed the leak.
Good bedding and lots of storage
One or two access badges to the neighboring residence elevators to get to the bus stop or to back by lack of snow seems essential. The welcome is friendly and helpful information is disclosed by the person responsible for handing the keys.
Great view and not overlooked. The balcony is very well exposed to enjoy the sun.
Access to the shuttle was very easy to go skiing or access to trade (can also walk) and return on skis too.
We had a great time, and we had all the information and advice we needed.
