We always ate outside, on the covered external veranda, among olive and citrus trees. It was truly amazing, one with nature. We have been 3/4 times for lunch/dinner in the nearby restaurant managed by the owners and we ate very well. A couple of times they were even kind enough to bring our food directly to our door.
The beach is made of small pebbles, the best for us who are not very fond of sand. The clean sea. We also visited the coast, really enchanting with its bays and inlets.

Everything was beautiful, the house, the sea, the surrounding landscapes (with majestic olive trees), the food.

Beautiful place and very quiet, at least out of season.
The highlight: a beautiful wooden porch surrounded by a vegetable garden / garden / citrus grove and olive grove.

The surrounding garden is very nice; a couple of times, with the permission of the owner, always very kind, we happened to be able to pick basil and rosemary for the dishes we were preparing, you should have smelled them. A fantastic thing. We also ate at the nearby restaurant, always all good. What can I say ... a wonderful holiday! Too bad it didn't last long.
The house is beautiful, equipped with everything you need for a holiday, and then there are those fantastic olive trees to frame, truly a show. The proximity to the sea was something priceless and very comfortable.
Mattinata and the Gargano impressed us very positively, a very rich and diversified territory, with plains, hills, forests, a beautiful coast, many beautiful villages. And then you eat very well !! We had the opportunity to appreciate both the owners' restaurant and other trattorias in the area! Very positive experience.
It was a very relaxing holiday, we really enjoyed it and would like to return next year.

I'm practically on the sea at no more than 50 ml. from the shoreline. To n. 2.5 km from a charming, candid, very peaceful town in the Gargano: Mattinata.
In one building among the olive trees the owner has created n. 4 apartments all independent, all on the ground floor, all well maintained, each personalized but all recently renovated with modern technologies.The result is an excellent indoor rest and a light outdoor breeze having all access to the vegetable garden and courtyard.
The sea is, in my opinion, the best that can be found in the Gargano and it is there under the house.
The first time you come it is a bit difficult to get there for the few public reports. But then you would not want to leave protected as you are from the olive trees that reach the sea. For me, who come from distant Emilia, Angelo's houses and the discreet courteous hospitality of his whole family are my continuous winter dream.
The owner is wise, kind and helpful. It's like being at home! I recommend it to all those who love the sea and tranquility.
